St. John's committee's

Consistory:
Is the Committee whose primary charge is to make policy, set direction and transact the business of the Church.

Members of the consistory are:
Denzil Valentine - President, Robert Dibert, Carl Feather, John Livengood, Rose Livengood, Steve Stroup, Jim Williams, Ric Defibaugh, Shirley Fisher, Sam Foreman,
Jo Greene, Debbie Johnson, Michael Johnson, Dan Keller, Debbie Rosentrater - Secretary

Deacons:
Is a sub-committee of the Consistory who are appointed to assist and support the Pastor in caring for the outward needs of the congregation.  They are entrusted with securing the funds necessary for the daily operation of the Lord's Church.  They are to make the congregation aware of the various needs of the church and to encourage liberal and cheerful giving.  They are responsible to care for and manage the affairs of the church that pertain to buildings and maintenance.  They are to be an example to the congregation in their attendance and service.

The Deacons are:
Ric Defibaugh, Shirley Fisher, Sam Foreman, Jo Greene, Debbie Johnson, Michael Johnson, Dan Keller, Debbie Rosentrater

Elders:
Is a sub-committee of the Consistory who are appointed to assist and support the Pastor in the spiritual matters of the congregation.  They form, with the pastor, a Spiritual Council, for the supervision and well being of the congregation.  They are to be advisors and counselors to the pastor - acting as hands and eyes with him and for him.  They are to be an example to the Congregation - encouraging their growth in the Lord.  Their responsibility is to encourage numerical and spiritual growth within the congregation and discipline of it's members.
